Simple Snail Banjo
c. 1890, retored in 2006, modified in 2008
 

I always try to keep one simple open back banjo, not expensive, very fonctional,  ready for somebody  who wants to learn  Clawhammer banjo. In may 2008 a French singer asked me to add a Star inlay on the head, but that was not fun at all to do; so I suggested him to make a Snail slowly searching for the Wilky Way. It still remains a Star story...

New ebony fingerboard with steel strings, goat skin head, good geared pegs, no knot tailpiece.
